Paramount brands reach more than 3.8 billion cumulative subscribers in 180+ countries and territories via more than 200 locally programmed and operated TV channels and more than 550 digital media and mobile TV properties, in 40 languages.Is this the role for you?Responsible for A/R collections of various EMEA regions.What will you be doing?Responsible for the collection of outstanding debts for covered regionsContacting customers and performing regular follow ups using various communication channels, including email, telephone calls.Preparing periodic reports for management view, including aged A/R balances, bad debt risk, etc.Managing & Solving customer disputes (ensuring accurate communication with markets & partners)Supporting customers ad-hoc requests (statement of accounts, invoice copies, backup documentation, accounts reconciliations, etc.)Maintaining strong knowledge of customer accounts and payment patterns for accurate cash forecastingProviding immediate escalation of concerns such as changes in the customers payment trends/behaviourMeeting individual cash collection targets (e.g. % of Overdue reduction, DSO, etc.Supporting the Cash Application team in the account reconciliation process (addressing cash application issues and following-up with customers on missing documentation & remittances)Working closely with Sales & Finance teams to troubleshoot collection challengesSupporting the Credit and Legal departments on bankruptcy cases and other risk accountsKeeping adequate records of customer contacts in SAPCoding invoices using SAP collections module to track status of outstanding receivablesProviding detailed backup explanation of A/R balances to both internal & external auditorsOther ad hoc requestsWhat are we looking for?Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business or related field preferred, but not required2-3 years Billing/Collections/AR/Finance experience with general knowledge of accounting principlesStrong knowledge of Microsoft ExcelStrong communication skills - oral, written, interpersonalAnalytical and problem-solving skillsFlexibility with work schedule, especially during critical times (e.g. monthly reporting deadlines, quarter close, etc.)Demonstrated ability to be a great teammatePossess strong work ethic and integrityAbility to operate in a fast-paced environment and meet critical deadlinesSAP Experience a plus#LI-hybridParamount is an equal opportunity employer (EOE) including disability/vet.At Paramount, the spirit of inclusion feeds into everything that we do, on-screen and off.
