IQUADRAT INFORMATICA S.L (IQU) is a technologycompany founded in 1997, with a focus on delivering System-Level evaluationtools for wireless networks. IQU R&D has been providing global solutionsand services in the use of Internet and Telecommunications to companies andinstitutions that use information and communication technologies in commercial,marketing, management and business communication areas. IQU's R&D has afocused business plan specifically intended on delivering a "new generation oftools for system level evaluation of wireless integrated communication systemstowards the society digital transformation". The R&D has extensive know-howin new concepts such as network/RAN virtualization, programmable networks,network slicing, cell-free, Artificial Intelligence and is also active in thefast-growing IoT paradigm with a plethora of vertical use cases. IQU´s R&Doffers well established experimentation tools in 5G and IoT. IQU isactive in many EU funded research projects related to 5G, 6G Smart Grid and IoTin collaboration with big European vendors and operators. IQU´sR&D department is looking for one Researcher in the framework of H2020 andHorizon Europe projects, possibility to work remote/hybrid from GREECE. Thework focuses on the analytical evaluation of the proposed solutions as well asproof of concepts in inhouse experimentation platforms. The successfulapplicant should have a PhD degree in Telecommunications, ElectronicEngineering or Computer Science.Tasks The selected candidatewill: · Carry out researchactivities related to Network Slicing, 5G/6G Network and Service management,Zero Touch Networks, Data-Driven Communications using AI/ML and experimentalvalidation. · Be in contact and workwith cutting-edge technology, validated at our in-house experimental platforms. · Work in challenging 5G/6Gand IoT R&D projects and represent the company in project meetings andresearch initiatives. · Participate in thepreparation of research funding proposals · Participate in scientificconference in the area · Represent IQU inexhibitions like Mobile World Congress Forum, IoT Solutions World Congress,Smart Cities Expo etc.Requirements Basic Qualifications: · Outstanding oral andwriting English skills · Good knowledge of current technology trends in 5G and BeyondNetworks e.g. Network slicing, virtualization, SDN/MEC/NFV. · Familiarity with AI/ML algorithms, tools and basic workflows. · Good publication recordin scientific peer-reviewed journals Preferred Qualifications: · Good knowledge ofProtocols and algorithms for Radio Resource Management. · Hands on experience withorchestration and virtualization tools like OSM, OpenStack, ONAP etc. · Experience in preparing proposalsfor research funding, e.g. H2020 · Experience inparticipating international research funding projectsBenefitsIQU seeks to increase the number ofwomen in those areas where they are underrepresented and, encourages women toapply.CONDITIONSA full-time long-term contract.
