Technology PMO Lead - Zaragoza, Spain (70% work from home) (Fluent in Spanish and English) Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technology PMO (Project Management Office) Lead who is fluent in both Spanish and English to join a dynamic team. As the Technology PMO Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the execution of technology projects, managing project portfolios, and ensuring alignment with organisational objectives. You will play a critical role in driving efficiency, standardisation, and continuous improvement across technology initiatives while effectively communicating with stakeholders in both Spanish and English. Key Responsibilities: Project Management: Lead the planning, execution, and closure of technology projects, ensuring adherence to project management best practices, timelines, and budget constraints. Portfolio Management: Manage the technology project portfolio, prioritising initiatives based on strategic objectives, resource availability, and business impact. Resource Allocation: Collaborate with functional managers to allocate resources effectively, ensuring optimal utilisation and alignment with project requirements. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate project risks, proactively addressing issues to minimise impact on project delivery and organisational objectives. Stakeholder Communication: Serve as a primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, risks, and milestones in both Spanish and English. Process Improvement: Continuously assess and improve project management processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness within the technology organisation. Team Leadership: Mentor and coach project managers and team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and excellence. Quality Assurance: Ensure that technology projects adhere to quality standards and regulatory requirements, driving excellence in deliverables and outcomes. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred. Proven experience (5+ years) in project management, with a focus on technology projects and initiatives. Demonstrated proficiency in project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse stakeholders in both Spanish and English. Experience leading cross-functional teams in a matrixed organisation. Solid understanding of technology trends, systems development life cycle, and IT governance frameworks. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred. Proficiency in project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, or Asana.
