Valuing our people is what makes us one global team, with our colleagues' safety at the heart of our organization.Sponsored projects devoted to developing new performance improvements features, together with presales site specific tailoring of the wind turbines are demanding many load calculations in order to cover the demand.How to contribute to our visionDeep knowledge of power electronics topologies and components:• Converter modeling (PSIM, Matlab, PLECS) with focus on HW topics, including power topologies and component design.• Review requirements, standards, and other documentation to clarify and understand converter hardware requirements.• Technical specification and/or design report of main power components: heatsinks (air and water-cooled), busbars, capacitors, semiconductors, HW protections, filters, power cabling, cooling systems, etc.• Thermal analysis of power converters (cooling concept and thermal modeling support).• Power components validation.• Contributions to double sourcing activities.• Participate in converter validation to ensure compliance with the design requirements in cooperation with the whole converter design team.• Adheres to the quality process through the execution of test procedures.• Cooperates with other engineering teams to support product testing and certifications.• Cooperates with other teams in the company to support presales, commissioning, aftersales, etc., including high-level product support.What you need to make a differencePassion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change. We are also looking for…• At least 3 years of experience in power electronics converter design (preferably high power, i.e. >100 kW)• Experience in analysis, diagnosis and problem solving of power converters.
