Job Description Summary:Reporting to the Head of Growth Procurement, the Procurement Development Lead plays a pivotal role in developing and implementing best procurement practices, systems, vendor management, CAPEX estimations and market intelligence functionality for Growth Procurement ensuring efficiency and scalability.Job Description:Main Responsibilities Vendor Management: Manage the vendor management cycle from supplier identification, supplier qualification, onboarding, quality management and performance review.
Policies & Systems: In conjunction with Operational Procurement, lead the process of reviewing and improving the prevailing procurement processes and adapt, develop, and implement foremost procurement policies, practices, templates, and systems ensuring that the requirements of Growth Procurement are met.
Documents and Contract Development: Manage the development and updating of standard commercial/contract documents, terms & conditions, and templates, in conjunction with Legal and other cross functional departments. Assist with development of operating instructions and documents for business line decentralised procurement.
System Support: Co-ordinate and manage Growth Procurement's involvement in company-wide procurement systems development (e.g., D365, Jaggaer).
Market Intelligence: Develop and update market analysis reports, report on market product trends and updates. Obtain and update OEM/supplier prices, datasheets and track record information.
Financial analysis: Develop, prepare and update spend analysis reports and CAPEX estimations. Develop and update price tracking database, including offer database maintenance, indexes, and forecasts.
Procurement Support: Support Growth Procurement with the procurement of certain services and goods as required. Assist with audits, ISO certifications, reporting and updating of data& information requests.
Qualities and Skills The ideal candidate should:
have a proven track record in procurement, with an analytical mindset, a keen understanding of the industry's dynamics, and the ability to foster and maintain strategic relationships.
have strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build solid working relationships and work across functions in a professional environment.
demonstrate a broader commercial understanding of procurement processes and systems, with strong financial skills and the ability to analyse different procurement processes and systems to make sound recommendations while being conscious of the broader business imperatives.
