What you will do: Support ongoing negotiations to achieve better commercial / technical terms with suppliers.Assess requirements and develop specifications for services, equipment and supplies to be purchased.Run tender processes, evaluate quotations and build strategic recommendations based on financial assessment and other relevant factors (which will vary from case to case).Work closely together with cross-functional teams to ensure contractual performance of suppliers and providers.Act as project manager to ensure all stakeholders (cost control, legal, business owner, etc) place their input and ensure deadlines are met.Support the IT, Finance and Operational teams in action plans to achieve the approved annual cost targets and budget.Responsible for compliance with the Purchasing Policy.What you will need: University degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering or Supply Chain Management or any equivalent education.A first experience in purchasing goods or services, preferably in B2B market is desired.Strong communication and problem-solving skills.Business mindset and ability to synthesize information into recommendations.Affinity to financial analysis.Teamwork and strong interpersonal skills.A self-motivated individual with demonstrated capacity for ownership, and responsibility.Ability to work independently with strong drive towards exceeding the set goals.Advanced / negotiation level of English.What do we offer: Flexibility to work from home up to two days per week and subject to manager's approval.Access to year-round free flights (exc. airports tax) for you, your partner, and your children, with over 100 airlines worldwide.Gym pass discounts and more.Continuous training to continue your development.Learn more about working at Volotea HQ.
