POSITION DESCRIPTION:In CIC energiGUNE we are looking for a Product Development Engineer for the Cell Prototyping Group to collaborate in different projects. Functions to be performed:Design new cell integration concepts considering final application requirements.Design mounting systems to secure the battery cells into battery pack within the vehicle chassis while considering factors like ease of assembly, structural strength and serviceability.Develop simulation models to analyze and predict the behavior of the systems under various conditions.Simulate potential failure modes and assess their impact on the overall system (structural, thermal).Compare simulation results with real-world experimental data to validate the accuracy of the models.Area: Electrochemical energy storage (EES)Research group: Cell prototypingWHAT WE OFFER:We are offering advantageous professional development opportunities, continuing availability of funds and ongoing operational needs.
