Seeking: Firmware, Software, and Electronic Product Engineer & Architect for a dynamic startup on a mission to revolutionize micromobility, founded and based in Catalonia, Spain with an international presence. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to architect and implement firmware, software, and electronic systems from the ground up, driving forward technological advancements that enhance the efficiency, safety, and sustainability of urban transportation. Responsibilities: Architect and design firmware, software, and electronic systems for embedded applications, ensuring compatibility, scalability, and reliability. Develop system-level requirements, specifications, and architecture documentation based on project objectives and customer/market needs. Lead and participate in design reviews, providing technical guidance and expertise to ensure adherence to best practices and standards. Collaborate with hardware engineers to define system architecture, select components, and optimize performance, power consumption, and cost. Develop and maintain firmware and software frameworks, libraries, and tools to facilitate efficient development and reuse across projects. Requirements: Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Proven experience (minimum 3 years) in firmware, software, electric, and electronic design, with a focus on embedded systems and real-time apps. Experience in design recommended, such as C/C++, Python, and assembly language for embedded platforms. Benefits: Salary: 35-45k + benefits. Hybrid role: 2-3 days office & 2-3 days remote.
