We actively listen to our partners needs and addvalue with our customised solutions, acting as a one-stop-shop for thepharmaceutical industry.You will be part of the Pharma EMEA Industry Market Management team and workclosely together with our Sales and Pharma Services team across EMEA region.Your main responsibilities will be to support the strategic development of theportfolio of API synthesis and Biopharma, conducting strategic sourcing,managing key suppliers and product basket of the segment. You will play animportant role in supporting the team, the sales structure and in providingguidance for the Pharma industry based on thorough and up to date market knowhow.Join our highly motivated Team and engage yourself in creating values for ourPharma customers and suppliers – and be part of our our Global Strategy to win.• Support the development ofEMEA-wide Synthesis & Biopharma strategy and product portfolio• Strategic sourcing activities to support the IMM team activities andbusiness development with sales• Build value adding key supplier relationships (incl. supplierselection, sourcing, and product management – price negotiation, GP marginoptimisation, stock inventory management)• Develop marketing and business positioning campaigns together with themarketing team and execute them• Build Technical & Commercial support for sales and product managers(Product information, Newsletter, Training) – on new products, suppliers, andapplications• Identify market trends in the API synthesis and Biopharma sector thathold business potential• Market analysis to strategically fill white spots• Develop market know-how to drive strategies for Synthesis &Biopharma field, in line with global strategy• Define the themes, priorities and focus areas for exhibitions andparticipate in regional trade fair activities• Participate in joint visits with customersYOUR PROFILEYourProfile:University degree in Science (Biotechnology, Biochemistry, PharmaceuticalSciences, Chemistry or related disciplines)Multiple years experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry, Chemical Distribution orrelated fields is essentialExperience in Product Management or strong network and relationship buildingcapability with suppliers will be valued Experience in sourcing or procurement activities is a plusStrong product and market knowledge of Pharmaceutical Industry and it'srequirementsSolid presentation skills and fluency in English, both written and verbalSound computer skills in the use of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SAP,CRM Availability to travel internationally as required.INTERESTED?We look forward receiving your application.Brenntag provides equal employment opportunities to qualified applicants and employees of all backgrounds and identities to create a workplace where difference is valued because it forms a resilient and more innovative organization.
