Job Description The candidate will be involved in the whole production process of the client orders of standard products. The candidate will be responsible for the management of individual orders, from the order incoming to the delivery, managing the procurement of the needed materials and services from our providers and the tracking of the integration and verification activities made in-house for the produced elements. She or he will be also involved in the definition of the production processes of new product processes and the improvement of the existing ones. Position Tasks and Responsibilities The candidate may be responsible for: Apply the production process for each of the customer orders, adapting it when necessary to meet the requirements or specification of each one. Request the purchase of materials necessary for production, preparing technical specifications and managing them with suppliers, in coordination with the procurement department. Carry out the follow-up of the tasks of manufacturing, integration and verification of the orders in production that are assigned, registering the process and complying with the established dates. Manage and prepare order documentation. Define the production processes of new products including test procedures, identification of suppliers, propose design improvements to optimize production, etc. Management of the configuration of each product and making improvements to their production process, in coordination with the person responsible for product design. Solve problems encountered during production, with the help of the product designer. Propose improvements to the general production process and help obtain general metrics of the department. Candidate qualifications and skills The candidate must have a Bachelor or Master's degree in Electronics, Telecommunication, Industrial or equivalent engineering degree. The required experience and skills are: Background in electronics, with the ability to understand product designs and propose improvements on them. Experience in testing electronic devices and management of laboratory instrumentation (network analyzer, bus analyzer, oscilloscopes, etc.) Experience in supplier management It will be also desirable the following qualifications and skills: Knowledge of protocols and standards such as CAN, I2C, JTAG, LVDS, high data rate buses, etc. Knowledge of embedded systems, microcontrollers, FPGAs, SoCs. Quality standards such as ISO9001, ECSS. Experience with MRP management tools. The applicant must have good communication skills and must be able to work autonomously in an effective manner; while cooperating in a potentially international and culturally diverse team. Moreover, the applicant must have good analytical, organizational and reporting skills; together with a proactive attitude to solve problems individually and an interest in technology development.
