Join our team and build the furure of space technologyWe´re expanding our team at Alén Space, and are looking for a production engineer; with passion in what you do, talented and experienced; to lead our Mission Control Center team and help build the future of space technology.
You will be part of a great team and will be involved in the entire production process of customer standard product orders. This includes working on the management of individual orders, from order entry to delivery, managing the procurement of necessary materials and services from our suppliers and tracking integration and verification activities performed internally for produced items. You will also participate in the definition of production processes for new products and the improvement of existing ones.
What you will be doing?
Manage and prepare order documentation, applying the production process for each client, adapting it when necessary.Request the purchase of materials necessary for production, developing technical specifications and managing them with suppliers, in coordination with other areas.Participate in the definition of stock, inventory and warehouse management strategies.Monitor the manufacturing, integration and verification tasks of the production orders assigned to you, recording the process and complying with the established dates..Participate in the definition of production processes for new products, including identification of suppliers and proposal of improvements.Propose improvements to the general production process and help obtain general metrics for the area.What do we need in our team
Experience in purchase order management, project management, monitoring and reporting of industrial activities.Experience in the preparation and management of technical documentation.Experience with ERP or similar management tools.Experience in supplier and customer management.
