IQS is currently looking for candidates starting on 2024-2025 academic year to fill the position of: Associate Professor in Industrial Production Organization Associate Professor (Profesor/a Contratado/a Doctor/a) to join the Department of Industrial Engineering for teaching and developing research activities as well as other academic duties. Main job functions include: Teaching in the Industrial Production Organization and Logistics area of knowledge in the Master of Industrial Engineering, Bachelor Degree in Industrial Engineering and other related areas/degrees ("Operations Management", "Projects", "Business Intelligence and Business Analytics", "Industrial planning and management", "Materials Management and Logistics"). Developing research in the priority topics included in IQS and Ramon Llull University scientific policy, especially in Operations, Industrial Planning and Logistics, integrating and coordinating with research activities of the Department of Industrial Engineering. Actively engaging in securing competitive research funding, establishing and participating in projects of technology transfer, and establishing internal collaborative research programs with other professors and researchers at IQS. Establishing and fostering international research collaborations. PhD in Industrial Engineering, or related topics to Industrial Production Organization. Postdoctoral or industrial experience – preferably international – in the field of Industrial Production Organization and/or Logistics. A track record of research publications in international journals and/or patents. Teaching experience in Engineering courses at bachelor or master level with strong experimental approach. Participation and/or leadership in competitive research projects. Good level of English to be able to teach in this language. Accreditation of teaching and/or research activity by national evaluation agencies or having enough merits to obtain it. Experience in industrial projects. Development of an academic career with promotion following the Ramon Llull University career track levels.
