Role Overview: At TravelPerk, we believe in order to do great work, it's crucial that our people feel connected to our mission and to each other. As a Project Coordinator your main responsibility will be to work closely with the Get Together and Learning & Development teams to provide support with different initiatives.
What you'll be doing: You will act as a reference person for the many activities categorised as team events. You will be handling all the team and hub event requests the Get Together Team receives, from communication with people managers requesting events to tracking attendance and budget use. You will support the Get Together team managing data and changes for all our bigger events: questions from attendees, changes or cancellations. Primary point of contact for liaising with external suppliers, negotiating contracts, and coordinating logistics for both. You will have to cultivate strong relationships with vendors to ensure seamless execution and optimal outcomes for all activities. Leverage your proficiency in the Google suite, with a specific focus on Google Sheets, to manage and analyse event-related data effectively. Generate insights and reports to inform decision-making and optimise event planning processes. Utilise Google Calendar and Calendly to manage Learning & Development initiatives and streamline communication with internal teams. What you will need to succeed: This role will be perfect for you if you're someone who matches the following:
You know your way around Sheets/Excel and Slides/PowerPoint. You are highly organised with an attention to detail, working well under project deadlines and daily responsibilities. Have a strong data approach: evaluate and measure event success in new ways and leverage those learnings in the development of our strategy. Strong English communication skills (written and verbal). Advanced Spanish (written and verbal). Adaptability and flexibility: with our fast-paced environment, change comes all the time. You feel comfortable constantly being challenged, learning fast, making things happen, and moving from one project to the next one. You are based (or willing to relocate to) in Barcelona. Highly driven self-starter Ability to deal with ambiguity Strong English communication skills (written and verbal). You speak clearly and effectively. You understand how to articulate your ideas in visual (slides) and verbally to a wide variety of stakeholders You take extreme ownership and are highly reliable in your delivery and communication.
