Role Summary: The Global Edge Project Manager is integral to coordinating the delivery of IT services for our global infrastructure projects. This role serves as the primary point of contact for business stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring all IT service deliveries are aligned with business requirements and are executed smoothly across various regions.
Responsibilities: Project Coordination: Act as the technical project manager, ensuring effective service delivery that meets SLAs and achieves high customer satisfaction.Solution Design: Collaborate with I&O architects to design IT solutions tailored to specific business needs when standard solutions are insufficient.Vendor Management: Manage relationships with Managed Service Providers and third-party suppliers to ensure timely and within-budget project delivery.Communication and Reporting: Handle communications around project issues and opportunities, build service and project status reports, and follow up on service delivery performance.Health & Safety Leadership: Promote and enforce Health & Safety standards within the project scope, ensuring compliance with organizational policies.Requirements: A Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or a related field. Project management certifications such as PMP or SCRUM, and ITIL v3 certification are required.At least 5 years of project management experience, with a proven ability to manage global IT projects and work with offshore outsourcing organizations.Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud services (AWS, Azure), data center technologies, and IT service management best practices.Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, capable of engaging effectively with diverse stakeholder groups and managing external vendor relationships.Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural and multi-located team environment.Fluency in English.
