The portfolio of work in Spain ranges from feasibility studies across key world energy challenges through to delivery of FEED and EPCM projects and site Customer alliances. We are very active in strategic areas of the energy transition in all the stages of an asset lifecycle and we also operate in the conventional energy space and in chemicals. We have strong enabling capabilities in environmental, marine, transport, infrastructure and logistics.
To support our continuing growth vision we need a strong motivating Project Manager with experience in FEED/EPCM projects greater than 100 million. Worley Spain offers a unique opportunity to participate in the delivery of first of a kind projects and to contribute to the sustained growth of our operation.
ROLE PURPOSE Manages multiple small projects, a single medium project or a portion of a large or mega project within the organization and/or for customers, with daily operational responsibilities. Responsible for implementing and administering project and Worley policies and procedures in order to successfully achieve project objectives. Works with others on the project team to develop technical/functional solutions to strategic project objectives. Solutions are derived from available resources provided internally and/or externally, including policies and procedures. May serve as a proposal manager for small to medium projects. 
KEY DUTIES Understands and embraces Life. Demonstrates full commitment to all health and safety matters and provides safety leadership to project team. Satisfies all requirements of project safety compliance including Safety by Design, Constructability and Maintainability. Defines and selects team required to deliver scope of work. Effectively leads project team comprised of multi-discipline/ multi-location members. Sets clear objectives for the project team including scope, schedule, productivity and budget targets. Oversees, motivates and monitors the performance of the team, ensuring quality and timeliness of assignments and roles, and addresses any performance gaps. Experienced in preparing Project Execution Plan covering all aspects of the scope. Has considered previous lessons learned as inputs to planning the project execution. Manages execution, coordination, and implements regular reviews/controls to track project progress. Good understanding of Project Control Reports, identifies problem areas and implements recovery plans. Interprets and understands key elements of the project schedule and resource plan. EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS Previous relevant supervisory, project management and/or technical experience; Workshare experience. FEED/EPCM Project experience greater than 100 million USD TIC. Experience in Downstream and/or New Energy projects. Has a strong understanding of cross-discipline work, interfaces, and sequencing. Skilled in estimating project costs and writing proposal content. Adept at budgeting and cost control. Experience in risk management, quality, procurement, or construction execution. Responsible for discipline planning, budgeting, and approval of expenditures. Must be based in Madrid and willing to travel as required.  Business Development May be called upon to lead part or all of a proposal. May support proposals by developing the engineering execution strategy, reviewing costs, writing proposal content, and presenting to customers. Encourages positive working relationships with external parties such as the customer, suppliers, and contractors. May be involved in networking, negotiations, strategic alliancing, and cost savings efforts. Stewards the maintenance of pricing records reflecting the effort to complete discipline activities. Support business development activities by facilitating the maintenance of personal profiles and resumes, tracking existing capabilities, and strategically addressing future customer capability requirements.  Supervision  Operates with broad management authority. Limited only by project objectives and policies of the organization. Work is reviewed to ensure company direction meets company vision and mission.  Communication Effectively communicate and present complex proposals and reports to senior level management. Ability to persuade and influence others. Participative management style with a cooperative team approach.  Competent in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, and PowerPoint.
Can organize information from many sources and retain as per the prescribed format and policies. 
Has functional awareness of cross-discipline tools. Experienced in coordinating the establishment/use of integrated tools and delivering the benefits of data centric engineering.  HSE Capability Assume hands-on management and implementation of all relevant company HSE requirements. Drive Safe and Sustainable engineering outcomes throughout the asset lifecycle via the application of Worley´s SEAL.
