RESPONSIBILITIES: To coordinate a seamless flow of cargo from the point of contractual origin to destination;Toverify and evaluate the technical suitability of the proposed method of transport;To review, study and then implementan action plan on the conditions contained therein;Providing therelevant expert knowledgeacross solutions and logistics industry;To attend and chair project progress meetings, meetings at Client's, the Seller's / Supplier's facilities, Consolidation and Marshalling Yards, Job Site or other locations to discuss forthcoming shipping operations and logistical planning;To manage, oversee and auditwhere necessary all staff, sub-contractors, and their interface;To act as a direct liaise for IPL for all cargo movements and report to Customers;To manage and prepare Commercial and Technical offers for internal and external Customers; To ensure that Project approved Shipping Plan is obtained for all transportation and freight expenditure ahead of actual movements in accordance with the pre-set criteria; To jointly develop and agree the project specific working procedures; To review, study and then implement an action plan on each Shipping operation based on the conditions contained therein; To manage, control and audit all project job files; To introduce news Customers and business opportunities to AsstrA / IPL, where possible; To engage price and rate negotiations with service providers, sub-contractors and carriers as required and as directed.REQUEREMENTS: Deep knowledge of transport and freight forwarding industry;Experience inProject management in the logistics industry and project cargo transportation (min. 5 years);Higher education– economy/ marketing/ finance/ management/ logistics/ transport;Excellent knowledge ofEnglish and Spanish;Provedorganizational skills,leadership qualities;Exceptionalproblem solvingand negotiation skills;Strategic thinking, proactivity and responsibility;Good team-working competences.WE OFFER: Opportunity to develop and expand knowledge by working in a multicultural and dynamic environment;Professional development;Individual on-boarding plan and mentor;Internal trainings, participation in internal projects and contests;Corporate training center (AsstrA focuses on continuous professional development of employees);Career development within the grading system;"Birthday party" – extra free day.
