This is an excellent opportunity to join an innovative company at the forefront of reinventing how we live, work, shop and play.We are seeking a Design/Construction professional to support the Leasing prospecting efforts through construction expertise and to oversee Landlord's Construction Work and the Tenant Improvement process from concept through drawings, permits and construction to opening within a group of shopping centers. The position will report to the Senior Project Manager or Director of Tenant Coordination within a US portfolio that consists of 24 Regional shopping malls with several mixed-use development and densification projects in various phases including uses such as in-line mercantile, restaurant/hospitality, assembly, office, automotive, residential and medical.We are looking for an entrepreneurial, self-motivated, results focused individual with experience in driving processes and influencing key decisions in the best interest of the Landlord to maximize the momentum of new deals and the quantity, quality and speed of new store openings that:- Can oversee all aspects of bringing new stores to the shopping center through technical construction and design expertise and deliver white glove customer service to all stake holders- Can set goals and formulate strategies to meet or exceed business plan objectives- Has superior organizing, planning and prioritizing skills and thrives both in a field/construction job site setting and office environment.- Is engaged and resourceful and has a proven track record in improving results with bold, out of the box thinking, perseverance and resiliencyQualifications:- Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Project Management and/or equivalent experience.- 3-5 years of experience as a Project Engineer, Owner's Representative, Construction Manager, Project Architect, and/or other relevant field experience- Experience in navigating Jurisdictional entitlement process, impact fee triggers, parking ratio mitigation, zoning/planning process, life safety requirements, building codes including ADA regulations.- Prior experience in a shopping center setting and or tenant coordination, a plus.- Knowledge of construction.- Software skills needed: Salesforce, Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Adobe Products, & Microsoft Office Suite.What is important to usUnibail-Rodamco-Westfield (URW) is driven by an entrepreneurial foundation of talented and ambitious employees who embrace change, strive for innovation, and know when to venture into uncharted terrain.
