• Analyse contracts and completes timely implementation
• Pro-active communication with internal key stakeholders and suppliers
• Works with system data on actual purchases to identify value opportunities and develop plans to capture value while aligning with partner strategies.
• Analyses and troubleshoots data disconnects between the Sourcing and APAY teams, which impact the end to end process.
• Takes ownership of various troubleshooting scenarios seeing them through to resolution.
• Builds expertise in different payment methods and advising suppliers and clients to facilitate smooth and timely payments to suppliers.
• Provides guidance and expertise to staff with less experience.
• Supports Sourcing Specialists and Sourcing Managers with spend and contracts analysis by leveraging Dow reporting tools (DSR, PowerBI, SAP).
• Maintains & supports agreements/amendments within contracting systems (Zycus).
• Provides training and guidance to Clients/Requisitioners on purchasing processes and tools.
• Drives working capital improvements, analyses payment terms and keeps vendor master terms up to date.
• Enables suppliers on Ariba and takes the lead in maintaining (extending/amending) System Price Agreements (SPA's).
• Takes the lead in reviewing and approving of vendor code requests in MDG.
• Takes the lead in supporting low value contracts and spot orders.
• Works on solving payment issues, approval process of rush payments and following up on escalations.
