Job Purpose :To support the IPP Analyst team in maintaining and strengthening trading relationships with all relevant vendors and with Product Marketing to obtain competitive advantage for TD SYNNEX via professional inventory planning and procurement.Responsibilities :Placing orders based on profiles produced by the IPP Analyst team taking into account any logistics efficiency requirements (i.e. pallet, layer, carton etc.).Back to back ordering of products with no established run rate.Place direct ship purchase orders on vendors. To check order confirmations for correct product, quantity, pricing and delivery dates and to invoice customers on receipt of proof of shipment or delivery.Ensure that all purchase orders raised are within authorised and agreed sign off limits.Check vendor order confirmations for correct product, quantity, pricing and delivery dates, and updating system (SAP) accordingly.Expedite all open orders to maximise customer satisfaction and take responsibility for highest degree of due date accuracy in SAP.Supporting texts to be added if necessary for POD (proof of delivery) requests and queries.To assist the IPP Analyst team with vendor price changes by ensuring correct cost prices are reflected within SAP.Stock Rotation : a) request authorisation reference from the vendor for either contractual or negotiated terms within prescribed timescales b) once reference obtained, raise Return to Vendor quotation order and record on central database c) validate all stock is returned to vendor in accordance with RMA.Support IPP Analyst team in resolution of Logistics (primarily Goods In) and Finance queries within prescribed timescales.To work within set policies and procedures and to continually review and update where necessary.To own and manage through until completion, any ad hoc projects as defined by IPP Management.Provide high level of service, support and accuracy to the IPP teamTo consistently achieve set targetsRepresent TD SYNNEX at all times in an efficient and professional mannerDeliver maximum stock availability, minimise customer backlog and inventory depreciation costs, whilst maintaining stock levels in line with our key performance indicators.Provide a first class and high availability stock profile (best in Group / IT distribution) with justified commercial risk and cost.Knowledge Skills and ExperienceEffective communication with internal & external partnersMust be proactive and self-motivatedStrong attention to detailAbility to organise and prioritise daily routine to support a rapidly changing environmentSolid working knowledge of current IT technologiesGood working knowledge of MS Office tools (Outlook, Excel, Word) and inventory replenishment systems (SAP R3) would be advantageous.Commercial and financial acumen - to balance inventory value and recovery margin.Good analytical skills - to analyse data and take appropriate action.Must have a focused, pro-active and committed attitude - to set and achieve action plans.Sound knowledge of basic purchasing and inventory principles and practices.LI-HYBRIDLI-FR1What's In It For You?Elective Benefits : Our programs are tailored to your country to best accommodate your lifestyle.Grow Your Career : Accelerate your path to success (and keep up with the future) with formal programs on leadership and professional development, and many more on-demand courses.Elevate Your Personal Well-Being : Boost your financial, physical, and mental well-being through seminars, events, and our global Life Empowerment Assistance Program.Diversity, Equity & Inclusion : It's not just a phrase to us; valuing every voice is how we succeed.
