Key Responsibilities: As a Business Analyst PIM/PXM (Product Information/ eXperience Management) you are a key player in helping our customers to be successful on the digital shelf by implementing PIM/PXM solutions . You are client facing, you work with brands and are responsible for collecting business requirements and translating them into high impact functional requirements for the configuration of PIM/PXM solutions.
What you will do: In your day-to-day job you will focus on business needs, challenge them and translate them to requirements, which the development team will use to prepare and implement solutions.
As part of your job you might be responsible for one or more syndication channels on behalf of our customers.
Together with the development team you will work on solution proposals. Your focus will be on the value and impact on the business processes of the solutions.
You will demo and explain proposed solutions in context with the business processes to the business users. You will review delivered solutions with customer needs.
Besides the implementation work, you will advise business users and business management on how to enable their digital shelf with product data, PIM and PXM. Expect to educate yourself, document and share best practices within the VML PXM teams about specific topics such as syndication, workflows, marketplaces, data analytics. Additionally, you will also be contributing to templated approaches.
Our business development team will also ask for your assistance. They will need your expertise in creating proposals and having demos at prospects.
Who you are: Business Analysis | You focus on gathering clients' business needs, challenging, advising them and translating them to requirements. Facilitation | Preparing and supporting workshops & interviews, to understand the business, product structures and business processes. Agile methodology and Scrum| You translate requirements to epics and user stories on a backlog and make sure the backlog is prioritized, so that the development team has enough work prepared to run sprints. Documentation skills | Clear written communication skills in for example process and workflow visualization, data modelling, user story writing, workshop & training materials and functional specifications. What you'll need: The basics:
Qualified candidates should have at least 4 years of experience in client consulting, gathering requirements, business process modelling for international and/or complex clients. Great working knowledge and understanding of the different PXM/PIM concepts & basic knowledge of e-commerce platforms. Bachelor's degree in (Technical) Business Administration, Information Management or related studies Demonstrate experience in collaborating within an Agile environment with cross-functional teams. Write a proper advanced (technical) briefing document for development Flexibility to work in our office and our client's offices when needed. Display excellent communications skills (in English), and ability to engage with stakeholders involved and ability to captivate your stakeholder's engagement in both online and offline meetings. Ability to scoping projects and provide accurate estimations of the work at hand Currently living in Barcelona with a valid right to work.
