Workload: 100%Join Axpo as a Quantitative Risk Analyst within our Risk team at Axpo Iberia and contribute to enhancing our trading and risk management processes. In this pivotal role, you'll leverage your deep understanding of quantitative finance to influence and optimize our risk assessment and management strategies. This position offers a unique opportunity to integrate advanced analytics within a dynamic and challenging environment.What you will do:Report and analyze risk indicators such as PnL, prices, volatilities, correlations, VaR, and apply sensitivity analyses.Collaborate closely with other risk teams, front office, IT, and control groups to implement improvements to the risk models and support related production processes.Liaise with the Swiss Risk Analysis team in Baden to ensure consistency in data flows.Enhance current processes in the risk department concerning Business Intelligence, Optimization, Big Data and Machine Learning.Be responsible for model monitoring, validation, and producing model results.Drive change through the application of quantitative analytical approaches to draw conclusions and make recommendations that address key business objectives.What you bring & who you are:University degree in quantitative finance, mathematics, statistics, or a similar field. Additional qualifications like FRM/ERP, CQF, CFA, or a Master's in Finance are an asset.Minimum of 2 years of experience as a quant in trading and/or risk management environments.Expertise in pricing, valuation of complex and structured products, and quantitative methods for market and credit risk management.Strong programming skills for prototyping and ad hoc solutions.Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to quickly absorb new concepts.Fluent in English, with strong self-management and communication skills.About the team:You will be part of a forward-thinking team that values collaboration and innovation.
