The R&D Project Manager plays an important role within the R&D team.You will oversee R&D Projects within the AMR GSC(Spain), providing clear guidelines, tasks and milestones, while motivating and providing feedback to R&D Manager.In this role, you will manage R&D roadmap projects under ABB's Phase & Gate model. This position is not graded yet as the country still hasn´t gone through the phase 4 of Global Grading process.
This position reports toR&D Department Lead
Your responsibilitiesPlanning and ensuring an optimal project portfolio for the team, and overseeing efficient project execution.Managing the development of project planning documents with ABB Phase & Gate Model.Monitoring projects to ensure best practices in cost control, resource efficiency.Analyzing and addressing project risks, and regularly disseminating lessons learned.Achieving project deliverables and compliance with roadmap and project requirements.Building strong relationships with subcontractors and R&D teams to execute the projects of R&D roadmap.Your background2 years of experience in Project Management, working as Project Manager in R&D projects or project management with similar characteristics.Sound knowledge of PMP and the robotics or Industrial market.Knowledge of Microsoft Project.A solution-focused approach and strong written and spoken communication skills.An Industrial Engineer or Engineer in Project Management.Spanish and English languages (required) will be additionally valued Chinese.More about usWe look forward to receiving your application (documents submitted in English are appreciated).
