About the Role As a Release Manager specializing in sports betting technology, you'll be responsible for overseeing the planning, scheduling, and coordination of software releases, ensuring successful deployment and delivery of high-quality products to customers. Your expertise in release management and attention to detail will be crucial in driving operational efficiency and minimizing risks associated with software releases.
Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain the release management process, policies, and procedures, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and organizational goals.Coordinate release planning activities, including defining release scope, scheduling release milestones, and identifying dependencies across development, testing, and deployment phases.Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product management, engineering, quality assurance, and operations to prioritize release activities and ensure timely delivery of software releases.Define and implement release readiness criteria and validation processes, ensuring that all necessary testing, documentation, and approvals are completed prior to release deployment.Manage release communication and stakeholder engagement, providing regular updates on release status, risks, and issues, and coordinating release activities with internal and external stakeholders.Monitor release performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs), analyzing trends and identifying opportunities for process improvement and optimization.Develop and maintain release calendars, release schedules, and release notes, documenting release activities and outcomes for future reference and audit purposes.Lead post-release reviews and retrospectives, gathering feedback from stakeholders and team members to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement in the release process.Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
