Join us.Job DescriptionOur Environmental team currently has an exciting vacancy for a Remediation Consultant to be based in our Madrid office. The successful candidate will work in a dynamic team which undertakes a wide variety of projects, pulling the right resources from across the company to support project needs. These projects involve, but are not limited to, contaminated soil investigation and remediation, risk assessments, remedial design, implementation and follow-up.The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:* Performs specific and limited portions of a broader assignment of an experienced engineer.* Gathers and correlates basic engineering data using established and well-defined procedures.* Works on detailed or routine engineering assignments involving calculations and relatively simple tests.* Proposes approach to solve new problems encountered.* Identifies discrepancies in results.* Provides guidance to entry level engineers.* Performs work in accordance with agreed upon budget and schedule with moderate supervision.Qualifications* Candidate must have a Bachelor's or master's degree in Engineering (Environmental, Chemical, Mining, Forest, Civil, Agricultural or Industrial) or Geology, Chemistry, Biology or Environmental Science, or another technical, environmental or chemical field of study.* Previous experience in Remediation, at least 3-4 years.* Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish .* Good knowledge and use of industry-standard computer software such as GIS, Surfer or Voxler.* Solid attention to detail and thorough approach to work.* Reasonable flexibility and willingness to travel to and work at site locations where/when required..* A valid driver's licenseAdditional InformationAbout AECOMAECOM is the world's trusted infrastructure consulting firm, delivering professional services throughout the project lifecycle - from advisory, planning, design and engineering to program and construction management
