From simple self check-in to boutique bathroom amenities, we bring the best of a hotel without any of the formality..The Revenue Management team is uniquely positioned to drive Sonder's success and profitability.The team creates and implements data-driven revenue strategies to optimize business performance, and is responsible for ongoing management of pricing and inventory.Reporting to the Manager of Revenue management Operations AT SONDER YOU WILL:Develop and implement the pricing and revenue strategies for multiple markets, property types, and customer segments.Monitor and adjust pricing strategies in real-time to respond to changing market conditions and business objectives.Analyze market trends, competitor pricing, and customer behaviour to identify opportunities for revenue growth.Drive the analysis that informs tactical pricing, lever utilization, and revenue decisions.Utilize revenue management software and tools to forecast demand and optimize pricing decisions.Build a constructive and collaborative relationship with key partners of your assigned portfolio.Collaborate with sales, marketing & distribution to align on pricing strategies with overall business goals.Conduct pricing experiments, analyze findings,and deliver compelling presentations to stakeholders to gain support for strategic initiatives aimed at optimizing pricing strategies.Support cross-functional projects that unlock new revenue capabilities. Participate in commercial business reviews, budget preparations and execution of the commercial planWHAT WE LOOK FOR:Bachelor's degree in business, hospitality management, or a related field plus previous experience in a quantitative & strategy role.Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make strategic recommendations.Proficiency in revenue management software and tools, such as revenue management systems (IdeaS is a plus) and property management systems (PMS). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and influence decision-making.Ability to adapt to change and thrive in a dynamic,evolving industry landscape.Intellectually curious and self-motivated entrepreneursPassion for driving business impactCreative thinkers who devise novel approaches to problem solvingDemonstrated interest in analyzing and presenting data, using Excel, SQL, Tableau or related software.
