Ensure optimum sales and profit, distribution and commercial management of the Enza Zaden customer base and product portfolio in the assigned market within the subsidiary geographical scope.

Key accountabilities 1. Responsible for SPG - Sales Budget/Profit & Loss - at subsidiary level in a particular market (crop segment/region), by undertaking activities to develop and expand the market and sales. Responsible for budgeting, forecasting and pricing within the assigned market.
2. Co-creation, development, execution and monitoring of the tactical plans, including the execution of the customer plans within the assigned market, together with Product and Marketing Management.
3. Determination of the (key) customers in cooperation with the subsidiary sales manager, steering, implemention and execution of (key) customer plans in the assigned market.
4. Accountable for leading, developing, motivating and coaching the assigned team members. Cooperation with the Subsidiary Sales Manager in maintaining, motivating and inspiring the Subsidiary Sales team.
5. Implementation of the region price strategy for the assigned market.
6. Collection of market and customer data within the market and supply thereof to the marketing intelligence team.

* Regional Sales Manager - Inform of tactical plan execution
* Marketing Manager - Monitor marketing promotion plan for tactical plan in the respective crop

* Sales Business Support - Discuss and give more detailed information about forecast and Latest Estimate when necessary
* Breeding teams - Discuss and follow up the development of new variaties
Main external contacts * Customers - Maintain a close connection with existing and potential customers, to achieve the sales targets, to understand the market dynamic and to co-create value. Key Growers, Plantraisers, Dealers and Purchasing Managers.

* Moderate complexity of the market in product, customers and cultual differences.

* Manages a team of 5 to 10 employees
* Products are typically critical or complex, requiring a high level of client relationship skills to maintain competitive positioning
* Accounts are typically highly challenging, complex, and diverse customers who require ongoing client relationship support
* Focuses on a few large or very complex customers within a designated geographic territory or market
* Focuses on team sales targets, new business development, and troubleshooting on problem or key markets
* Independently prepares sales presentations, contracts, and proposals to ensure successful outcome of transactions
* Manages (Key) accounts directly or indirectly
* Is responsible for managing support departments and execution of global policies.
* Works closely together in the country with other sectors (Seed Operation and R&D).

Level 3 - job level 13
* Manages a team of 10 to 20 employees
* High complexity of the market in product, customers and cultural differences in multiple area's/ countries.
* Is responsible for a significant part (25%) of the sales revenue of the country/ are typically highly challenging, complex, and diverse customers who require
* Manages Key accounts/ distributors on all levels, directly or indirectly. Accounts are typically highly challenging, complex, and diverse customers who require ongoing client relationship support
* Independently prepares and present sales presentations, contracts, and proposals to ensure successful outcome of transactions
