Reviews and edits essential internal communications prior to dissemination to ensure accuracy, clarity, and appropriateness. Ensures a "corporate voice" permeates messaging to employees and stakeholders. Coordinates internal communication efforts with those provided by others who focus on external communications (i.e., marketing communications, investor relations). Works closely with executive management team and departments to keep abreast of company developments and trends. May assist with the development and implementation of new and existing communication vehicles.Working at NTTJob DescriptionThe role of Employee Experience and Internal Communications Specialist is responsible for developing and executing internal communications, leadership and employee engagement programs, culture-change initiatives, and transformation communications in support of business strategy and priorities. Key Role and Responsibilities:Planning and program development:Design and implement communication and engagement activities to achieve global objectives and tailored business outcomes.Maintain the leadership and employee engagement and annual internal communications plan.Contribute to the global scheduling and planning process to align activities and strategic messages across audiences.Message and content development:Draft, edit and produce relevant and engaging messages, talking points, communications and content consistent with the global narrative and brand.Channel strategy:Utilise NTT's mix of channels (including digital and social, internally and externally) along with live interactions to reach and engage targeted internal audiences, identifying and implementing new approaches, technologies and innovations as required.Measures, feedback and employee insight:Support global and institute appropriate local employee and communication effectiveness survey and feedback mechanisms.Use metrics and insights generated to drive improvement in communication and engagement.Network representation and management:Coordinate in-country engagement network.Play an active role in the global Employee Engagement Council.Champion and deliver global engagement and communication initiatives within business area(s) supported.Management of resources, agencies, creative briefs and budgets:Manage resources, agencies, creative briefs and budgets in support of delivery in employee engagement, internal and change communication program.Best practice, standards and governance:Embed and champion good practice and communication capability within business area and its leaders and teams.Adhere to global corporate standards and governance for communications.Knowledge, Skills and Attributes:Excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills with the ability to interface with all levels of managementAbility to project gravitas and confidently convey subject matter expertise to peers, teams and leadershipAbility to identify and analyze business and audience needs to deliver messages via the most appropriate mix of channelsAbility to manage several programs/projects simultaneously in fast-paced environment often interrupted with immediate support requirements.Ability to prioritize workload that may demand working extended hours on occasion as necessaryAbility to be hands-on, as well as strategic.A "team player" who can lead by example, with high accountability for his/her actionsProven problem-solving ability that can identify source of problem, impact as it relates to other functions and stakeholders, and recommended solutionExcellent presentation and communication skills.An outstanding writer with the ability to create compelling messages that provides all levels of employees with a clear line of sight to business strategyOutstanding judgment, with a balance of confidence, maturity, refinement, and high energyAcademic Qualifications and Certifications:Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferableQualifications or further studies in Employee Engagement and/or Internal Communications or Public RelationsRequired Experience:Demonstrable required experience within an internal communications role and/ or related disciplineDemonstrable experience of managing multiple time-critical projects with a proven track record in advising senior leadersExperience managing a wider network and ensuring team goals are achieved or exceededSolid experience creating and executing internal communications and a track record of delivering solid, measurable resultsDemonstrated success working in collaboration and managing indirect teams both internally and externally, contractors and agenciesProven experience working globally / cross-culturally and in a matrix environmentSkills SummaryCommunication, Editing Text, Employee Engagement Programs, Internal Communications, Prioritization, Project Coordination, WritingWhat will make you a good fit for the role?Workplace type: Hybrid WorkingEqual Opportunity EmployerNTT is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer with a global culture that embraces diversity.
