Our assurance and risk professionals have diverse backgrounds including internal controls, consumer compliance, technology, operational risk, financial accounting, data analytics, and banking operations.  Most IAG team members hold at least one professional certification. Our audit teams align to key risk areas and business units to ensure IAG can provide comprehensive and risk-based audit coverage. In addition, IAG has a Professional Practices group responsible for managing audit operations, quality, and standards; regulatory relations; reporting; training and professional development; and key internal capabilities and technologies.Internal Audit Group (IAG) – FinanceThe Finance team within IAG is responsible for conducting risk-based reviews of the Controllership and Tax process areas. Scope of coverage expands across various domains including but not limited to the review of financial statement close activities and consolidation, general ledger management, accounting and reporting (SEC and regulatory reporting).Key ResponsibilitiesAssist team leaders, senior managers / managers, and senior auditors in accomplishing audit objectives in a team environmentUnderstands, identifies, evaluates and documents key risks and controlsTranslate business risks, controls and supporting data into analytic requirements and partners with a development team to build audit analyticsDemonstrates a solid knowledge of audit and proper application of sampling techniquesWorks with managers/ team leaders to develop audit test steps and can assume responsibility for key process areas of moderate complexityParticipate as a key team member on integrated audit projects to document processes under review, execute audit tests competently in accordance with policies and procedures, and with moderate supervisionSummarize and communicate results and recommendations to close identified control gapsValidate that actions taken by management to address findings are appropriate and document the resultsProficient use of automated work papers and other department and company toolsMonitor a portfolio of audit analytics, assess analytic results, use the analytic data to tell the potential business story, and work with audit and business colleagues to validate that storyCollaborate with audit teams to understand the data behind key processes, risk and controls to develop analytic control tests and analyze and interpret their resultsUndertake and effectively execute multiple concurrent audits, projects, or other tasks with a high level of personal accountabilityEffectively coach, teach, mentor and develop junior colleagues and co-sourced resources in geographically diverse locations across all aspects of their role, the audit and analytic lifecycle, and audit methodologyMaintain internal audit proficiency through ongoing professional development including data literacy skillsMinimum Qualifications 2+ years of relevant audit experience focusing on accounting and finance in the banking or financial services industry within public accounting and/or internal audit function.Bachelor of Art (BA), Bachelor of Science (BS), or equivalent degree in accounting or finance related fieldExperience with technology control testing including interface inputs, reports, application security, business continuity and third partiesExperience with data analytic tools, data visualization, key risk indicators (KRIs), key performance indicators (KPIs), and scorecards / dashboardsAptitude for working with data, interpreting results, business intelligence and analytic best practicesKnowledge and experience in the application of control theory and professional auditing practices including the audit lifecycleAbility to think analytically, communicate complex issues, and develop control recommendationsStrong written and verbal communication skills that deliver quality, actionable and beneficial feedback to management on potential control issues and solutions to close gapsDemonstrated track record of integrity, effective communication, innovation, and excellenceExperience working with integrated audit teams across regionsPreferred Qualifications  3+ years of relevant experience in the banking industry within a public accounting, finance and/or internal audit function.Professional certification (CIA, CISA, CPA, or equivalent) preferredUnderstanding of financial accounting, SEC and regulatory reporting (FR Y-9C,Y-9LP, Y-14, 11/2314, etc.), including technology and data implicationsSalary Range: $55,000.00 to $105,000.00 annually + bonus + benefitsThe above represents the expected salary range for this job requisition.
