Our Token Suite is an all-in-one platform with user-friendly tools and features, making it easy for companies to tokenize and self-manage their digital assets. The digitalization of real-world assets offers various advantages such as, agility in investment processes, operational speed, and the elimination of the need for third parties during the process. As easy as it is for companies to create funding rounds, it is for investors to reach out to the companies and invest in these emerging assets. Founded and based in Barcelona since 2020, we are a fintech fast growing startup in the blockchain industry. We are about 30 Brickkeneers with more than 10 nationalities who work in a dynamic and high growth company where new ideas are always welcome. For this reason, we are looking for an experienced Senior Backend Developer to join our team and contribute to the development of our project repository. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in backend development, with expertise in server-side technologies, cloud services, and database
management. Key Responsibilities: Backend Development: Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Node.js, TypeScript, and serverless frameworks. Integration with AWS Services: Implement integrations with various AWS services such as SES, SNS, SQS, API Gateway, and Lambda functions.Database Management: Manage and optimize PostgreSQL databases using Sequelize ORM and Sequelize TypeScript.Performance Optimization: Identify and address performance bottlenecks, implement caching mechanisms, and ensure optimal response times for backend services.Serverless Deployment: Collaborate with the team to deploy serverless applications using Serverless Framework and esbuild for efficient bundling.DevOps & Tooling: Work with CI/CD pipelines, automate infrastructure provisioning, and ensure effective monitoring and logging of backend systems.Testing & Quality Assurance: Write unit tests, integration tests, and participate in code reviews to ensure high code quality and reliability.Documentation & Collaboration: Contribute to technical documentation, provide
mentorship to junior developers, and collaborate closely with frontend and other
cross-functional teamsRequirements: Proven experience as a Backend Developer, with at least 5+ years of experience.In-depth knowledge of Node.js, TypeScript, and modern backend technologies.Experience with AWS services such as SES, SNS, DynamoDB, and Lambda functions.Proficiency in PostgreSQL and Sequelize ORM with TypeScript.Familiarity with serverless architectures and deployments using Serverless Framework.Strong understanding of design patterns, SOLID principles, and best practices in
backend development.Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative
environment.Nice to Have: Experience with building and maintaining scalable and distributed systems.Knowledge of event-driven architectures using AWS SNS, SQS, and event sourcing
