Product Our product takes several forms. For merchants, we've built an API-first solution that lets them offer product insurance and services to their customers, as well as a dashboard to monitor key metrics. For customers, we've designed a simple (and fast ?) claims experience.

Remote Friendly Our headquarters are located in Paris but we offer both full and flexible remote opportunities. We are looking for candidates in the CET timezone ± 2 hours (Paris, London, Madrid, Berlin, ...). This position is for a full-time employment.
What is the role? We're looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join our team. You will be responsible adding to our ever growing suite of features and APIs, and executing our ambitious roadmap. You'd be joining a team of highly talented engineers with experience from some of the best companies such as Algolia, Apple or Datadog and top schools such as Polytechnique and Centrale.
What you'll do Design, build, and maintain APIs, services, and systems across our engineering team. You will be developing and scaling these from the ground up. Your design decisions will be the building blocks of our technical stack and have a lasting impact.
Own critical parts of the product and work self-directed. We're a small team of individual contributors, everybody has autonomy and responsibility.
Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization, including our Product team.
Contribute to hiring your future coworkers and improve our candidate experience.
You may be a good fit if You've written high quality code in object oriented languages in the past. While experience in Go is a plus, we care more about your general engineering skillset than knowledge of a specific language.
You have 5+ years experience designing and implementing highly scalable and reliable REST APIs.
You are fluent in English (no need to speak French!).
Backend — Go: Providing best-in-class APIs to our eCommerce customers.
Frontend — React, TypeScript: Creating a beautiful user interface. We iterate on designs and don't compromise until we have a great product.
Operations — GCP: Maintaining a stable, secure fleet of servers.
Tools — Linear for issue tracking, Github as source control, Postman for API development, Slack for internal communication, and many others.
