Exoticca is looking for a Senior Communications Specialist to help shape our content strategy and tell Exoticca's brand story. As a Senior Communications Specialist, you will be responsible for creating and owning the Content Strategy, you will also manage and set up PR. You will have 1 direct report who will help in coordinating, assisting and day to day responsibilities of PR. you will edit and curate relevant content to our multiple audiences (B2C and B2B) in various formats (long and short, multimedia), while building and establishing Exotica's brand and reputation as the leader and trail blazer in the travel package category. Which will be your main responsibilities: ? Own and execute the Exoticca Content strategy/plan for both internal and external audiences across all comms channels ? Growing readership and engagement across all our inbound marketing program (blog, CRM, SEO, Organic social) that builds brand consideration maintains TOM awareness ? Oversee and manage of content agencies, PR agencies and other content creators, KOLs, Partnerships ? Write, edit, and proofread high-quality content including blog posts, thought-leadership pieces, white papers, case studies, infographics, video scripts, website copy, emails, press releases. ? Execute on ideas from the creative team, as well as develop your own content ideas with the creative team ? Collaborate with internal stakeholders and subject matter experts to transform product details into engaging content, turn an executive's interview into a thoughtful article, blog post, and other content types. ? Create and manage a content calendar and proactively uncover new opportunities for content creation and distribution which aligns with overall business and brand objectives. ? Develop a thorough understanding of our target audience buyer profiles as well as effective engagement strategies at each stage of the path to purchase. ? Analyze best performing content and report out on the data. ? Follow SEO best practices and work with the channels owners to gain valuable insights on the channels. ? Create innovative public relations and publicity programs that will increase revenue and brand awareness, creating a positive perception of Exoticca and our product offerings. ? Prepare a PR budget and manage the implementation and execution of any public relations activities/events etc. ? Maintain professional relationships with media and gain cooperation and respect to earn a reputation as a source of reliable, newsworthy information. ? Act as an advisory to management by tracking public attitudes and making the EXCO informed and aware ? Ensure proper use of corporate identity on all external and internal materials and produce and distribute media releases and advisories. ? Ensure media kits and other Public Relations related material originating from Exoticca or PR agency is appropriate, error- free and compliments the brand. ? Create processes, choose, and implement tools that allow for fast and effective collaboration for content creation, review, translation, and publication. Requirements ? 5+ years of professional experience, of which 3+ as a journalist, content marketer, PR manager, writer ? Not just excellent writing and communication skills, we're looking for compelling storytelling ? Native or Proficient level in English and Spanish is a plus ? Passion for travel ? Experience working in a fast-paced environment ? Experience in travel/ tourism is a plus ? Ability to work on multiple Content projects in different stages at the same time ? Desire to improve, edit, re-work content based on feedback ? Ability to use data to evaluate efficacy of Content and adjust strategy accordingly ? Previous experience and interest in managing content for both B2C and B2B audiences. ? Grammar nerd and lover of the Oxford comma is a plus ? Experience with Wordpress, Google Analytics and other tools that makes your work and the team's more fluid ?
