We are looking for a Senior Ferment Technologistwho will be in charge of the identification and benchmarking of new strains and new ferment solutions enabling product superiority, optimal nutrition or specific health benefit across all product categories.
Your main responsibilitieswill focus on:
Integrate strains biodiversity, fermentation processes and emerging technological, molecular, digital approaches in collaboration with suppliers and external partners.Provide support and advices for the implementation of the ferment and fermentation solutions to the R&I product development teams.Contribute with the other experts in the field, to nurture ferment R&I strategy.Handle synergies with other R&I functions, UX, engineering, quality, operations and procurement.To be successful in this role we believe that is it positive to have:
Education: PhD in Microbiology or applied fermentation.Experience: 10 years of experience in the field of microbiology, culture, fermentation.Languages:Good level of English and Spanish.Stakeholders: Large interaction with culture suppliers and partners (public, private), with R&I cross categories, C&P, R&I, UX, Quality internal functions.Availability to travel about 30% of time to visit suppliers, partners and EU teams.Working at Danone gives you the chance to impact more than 12 million consumers in, where we lead the ranking of the most chosen brands in the country.
