Then please keep reading, as this is your chance to contribute with your achievements and career the drive for more sustainable power for our planet and changing the energy industry and our world for the better.Global Finance > Vestas Legal, Risk & Compliance > Global Risk > Insurance & RiskThe Insurance & Risk department consists of highly experienced professionals handling all corporate insurances for Vestas Group, as well as handling risk assessment and claims, and supporting sales activities in contract risk management in turbine sales, service and procurement agreements.ResponsibilitiesIn house Risk & insurance matters in sales, service and procurement agreementsFacilitate training on risk & insurance topics, for respective functions of regional Sales Business UnitsSupport to regional or global Legal, Sales, Service and Procurement in contract negotiations as well as acting as Vesta ´ insurance & risk representative in external meetings with customers and suppliers.Guidance to the organization for insurance claims under globally placed policies and the applicable global claims processes.Participation in surveys and loss prevention activities in cooperation with the global Insurance & Risk team and the rest of the organization.Collaboration on risk analysis and risk management initiatives initiated across the organization.Promote a risk aware mindset and communicate global insurance strategy and policy coverage to other functions of the organization.Continuous alignment with the Head of Insurance & Risk and the Team to supporting the overall strategic direction of the department.Handling of insurance claims under locally placed insurances and insurances policies of third parties, as relevant depending on the contractual set-up and regional need in a Sales Business UnitMaintenance of locally required insurance policies, coordination of timely payment of premiums ensuring continuity of coverage, as well as distribution of certificates of insurance and other regional insurance documentation to internal stakeholders, customers, vendors, and government agencies.Business Units Budget planning support, in coordination with Finance, related to insurance premiums.Responsible for the coordination with all local insurance brokers and underwriters in the region.QualificationsBachelor degree within Law, Risk Management & Insurance or FinanceAt least 7 years work experience in contract reviews/negotiations and risk & insuranceFluent in English and Spanish (C1 minimum level on the secondary language)Experience in the energy sector is valuableAdvanced negotiation and communication skillsAbility to organize, prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneouslyAbility to adapt to and learn new industries, customers and technologies
