Position & Responsibilities As a Senior Java Developer at Palisis, your key responsibilities include:
Crafting clean, scalable and efficient code Actively participating in sprint planning and retrospective meetings Contributing to the continuous improvement of our product portfolio Requirements Requirements (must-haves) Minimum Qualifications: High School or higher Minimum Experience: 5 years+ experience as a Java developer Technical understanding: Strong expertise in Java, Spring, and Hibernate Minimum Language Skills: Fluent in English and Spanish Location: Spain (remote) Proficiency in Spring, Hibernate, MySQL, ActiveMQ, Git, and Angular is highly valued Experience working with Jira and Agile methodology is a common way of collaborating with our team Familiarity with Scrum methodology is a plus Key Attributes Communication skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively engage with clients from diverse backgrounds and educational levels. Fast problem-solving mentality to provide clients with the right solutions. Organisational skills: Strong organisational skills to manage multiple clients, on-site and off-site meetings, and deadlines. Effective time management and the ability to focus on closing sales are crucial. Time-management skills: Proficiency in managing and prioritizing time, including calendar management and schedule adjustments.
