We're looking for PHP Developers to join our international team. This is a hybrid role based in Barcelona, Spain, however, we're considering candidates nationwide.
You will be working closely with the Product Manager to provide our clients with a solid, robust and modern product. You are also expected to provide assistance to less senior team mates, do code reviews and ensure code standards are being followed.
Responsibilities Refactor existing code to improve performance, readability, maintainability, and scalability Take a lead role in projects, setting the technical direction and supervising the work of other developers Develop new features and maintain the server-side web-based applications Contribute to the design of new features of the platform Help triage and fix software defects Take a lead role in promoting high quality, standards compliant code in an efficient Agile process, by contributing critical code-review feedback and representing and challenging our application of Agile principles Minimum 3 years of commercial experience 2 years of commercial experience with Symfony framework Professional experience with developing server-side web based applications SOLID experience with Object-oriented and various Design Patterns Strong knowledge and experience of working in an Agile environment Experience of code-review and peer-feedback processes Experience in designing and consuming RESTful APIs Proficiency with git Experience with distributed applications and event driven systems
