Amazon Transportation Services (ATS) is looking for a Senior Planner, Planning & Routing. In this role, you will drive innovation in Amazon's Middle Mile Transportation network. As part of the Program Development team, you will play a pivotal role in envisioning and delivering new solutions to meet the evolving needs of our customers and stakeholders.


Key job responsibilities
- Own a dedicated process related to truck plan and resource generation, including the initiatives to improve the results from the scoping/creation until the implementation.
- Work closely with a team of Program and Managers to drive the collection and implementation of requirements, ensure alignment with corporate objectives and contractual obligations.
- Define, prioritize and plan the resources and technical requirements needed for programs to be delivered on time.
- Write and review business cases, perform supporting analysis, write specifications from design to release.
- Regular communication with all stakeholders. This includes ongoing project/program status reports as well as capturing requirements.
- Retrieve and analyze data using Excel, Access, SQL or other data management systems.
- Monitor project execution and ensure that the project delivery is to the appropriate levels of quality and in line with its target date, ensuring the overall integrity within the program.

A day in the life
As a Senior Linehaul Planner, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and improving initiatives that ensure the smooth running of our operations. You will collaborate closely with various Amazon team members to understand their workflows and learn from their expertise. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to share your own knowledge and insights. Together, you will identify promising new possibilities and take the lead in planning their implementation.

You will motivate and assist your teams and colleagues to accomplish important deliverables. At the same time, you will proactively seek out new, data-driven approaches to improve how we operate. Your contributions will be essential to the success of your team.

Amazon couldn't deliver at pace without the Amazon Transportation Service (ATS) team. As part of ATS, you'll be welcomed into a diverse team that plays a central role in our success. Barcelona, ESP
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS- A degree
- Relevant experience working with Excel and SQL
- Relevant experience in program or project management
- Relevant experience working cross-functionally with tech and non-tech teams
- Relevant experience in defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics
- Relevant experience in supply chain
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- Relevant experience in driving end to end delivery
- Relevant experience leading process improvements
- Relevant experience of communicating with a wide range of stakeholders, including your peers and leadership
