ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM: As a Senior Specialist in Product Security at SITA, you'll be at the forefront of ensuring the security and integrity of our products and solutions. Collaborating closely with product teams, you'll lead efforts to embed security principles throughout the product lifecycle, safeguarding our offerings against potential threats and vulnerabilities. WHAT YOU WILL DO: Lead and guide product teams in understanding and implementing security requirements, serving as a subject matter expert on product security best practices.Drive the creation of comprehensive security documentation to meet both regulatory requirements and customer expectations.Spearhead the integration of robust security controls during all phases of product design, development, and deployment.Enable management and mitigation of product security risks through thorough analysis and strategic decision-making.Coordinate and oversee security assessments and audits across the product portfolio, identifying and addressing vulnerabilities.Act as a primary interface between product management and other departments, facilitating collaboration on security-related initiatives and projects.QualificationsEXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.Extensive experience in product security roles, with a minimum of 5 years dedicated to product security within the technology industry.Proficiency in industry-standard frameworks and guidelines, such as NIST, CIS, OWASP, and secure development methodologies.Proven track record of effectively communicating and documenting product security requirements and strategies.Deep understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices, with a focus on their application within product development environments.Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.Demonstrated leadership abilities, including the capacity to lead and mentor teams in security-related initiatives.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a strong commitment to collaboration and teamwork.NICE-TO-HAVE: Relevant Information Security Certification(s) such as CISSP, CompTIA Security+, CISA, CISM, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer, or similar.Familiarity with regulatory requirements such as GDPR or PCI DSS is advantageous.Hands-on experience with product security assessments, threat modeling, and vulnerability management.Prior involvement in cross-functional teams or projects related to product security enhancementPrevious experience in fields such as Information Technology Provider/Telecom Provider, Air Transport Industry, Consulting, Information Security Program, Pentesting/Information Security audits, or Presales/Commercial roles would be beneficialWHAT WE OFFER:SITA's workplace is all about diversity, many different countries and cultures are represented in our workforce.
