With a passion for creating immersive and engaging console and PC action games, Anchor Point Studios seeks to push the boundaries of entertainment in extraordinary ways and develop experiences that are both memorable and timeless.We are Anchor Point Studios and we're looking for a Senior Systems Designer to help us build the future of mind-blowing video game entertainment for a new, innovative 3D action title.As our Senior Systems Designer you'll find yourself collaborating on a daily basis with leads and directors to develop systems driven mechanics that support endless replayability. Additionally, you can expect to find yourself being immersed on a daily basis as follows:- Develop, pitch and spearhead gameplay systems with a clear vision as to how they affect and improve the game.- Own and design content for game systems with a focus on player experience.- Prototype, script, build, implement and maintain systems within the game engine.- Develop, balance and tune player/progression systems and resource economies.- Work with production, engineering, animation, UI and the design teams to solve workflow issues and develop content pipelines.Requirements and Skills:- AAA quality experience with progression, customization and economy game systems.- Knowledge and passion for action, adventure games leaning into social, immersive experiences.- Knowledge of Unreal Engine and blueprint scripting.- Knowledge of scripting within Excel.- Clear, concise communication skills.Why Anchor Point Studios?We're drawn to who you are, not just what you do.
