The Service and Commissioning Engineer based out of San Sebastián (Spain) facility that is looking to move into a career with around 75% travel.The Service and Commissioning Engineer position is a great opportunity to work with a variety of customers and projects to continue growth and development in new technologies such as the battery and electrification areas. This position will deliver professional and customer-oriented services according to customer requirements and the Customer Services processes. The Service and Commissioning Engineer position is responsible for maintenance, calibration and repair of measurement equipment within testing facilities in addition to installation and installation supervision of AVL products.Diagnose, troubleshoot, calibrate, repair, perform preventative and corrective maintenance of equipment and systems.Performs and documents calibration/performance tests associated with the system or component. Install and commission assigned products.Actively participate in developing one's own training plan and exhibit ownership in completing training.Record and document calibrations, diagnostic and performance test results, records maintenance activities, and documents while accurately maintaining shift logs.Assist in the development of troubleshooting guides and continuous improvement methods to increase operating equipment effectiveness (O.E.E.).Responsible for maintaining and ensuring calibration of issued tools and equipment.Professional and timely completion of service and calibration reports and other administrative responsibilities.Provides operator instruction as necessary and operates with minimal supervision.Complete all applicable safety training. Must be willing to travel Other tasks as assignedTechnical 4 years or 2 years degree or equivalent experiencesWillingness to travel >75% Electrics, electronics or mechanicsSkills Intermediate or superior training in multidisciplinary sectors of the industry (recommended industrial maintenance).Knowledge and use of fine mechanical and measurement tools English (minimum B2 level).Spanish (minimum B2 level)Organization, responsibility, and autonomy.Resolution in decision making and technical problems.Teamwork.Communication skills with the client.Ability to work under stress.Adequate time management and recommended tasks.
