Worldwide, more than 8,500 employees are working on this permanent challenge at over 90 locations on all continents.The function of the Field Service Specialist Applied Markets is to provide hands-on technical expertise in all aspects of installation, commissioning, basic customer training, maintenance, fault-finding and customer support in respect of the company's products with a focus on GC/LC/Darts-TQ instruments instrumentsResponsibilitiesWorking as a member of the Service Team involved in the installation, maintenance, service and solution support of our range of instrumentation, duties will include:Service visits onsite for installation, repairs and esp high-level troubleshooting of complex issues for electromechanical systems (laboratory instruments); Diagnose causes of malfunction and actively resolve customers' service issuesProvide technical, software and application related support and assistance to customers and to colleagues, either directly or by remote diagnosisCarry out procedures necessary to validate systems to certifiable standardsProvide technical input to the sales team in non-routine sales casesDocumentation of service cases including dispatching of service visits in CRM platformProvision of Engineer trainings to international audiences 2-3x/yearThe position reports to the Region Service Manager, who will agree expectations, offer guidance as necessary and provide framework supportThe position is home office based, preferably close Madrid (ES)
