Our client is currently looking for an autonomous and hands on person willing to take the challenge of becoming a Site Controller, to be based in Beniel (Murcia). It's a great challenge with fantastic conditions!
The main purpose of this role will be to ensure the accuracy of all financial effects connected with industrial activities (from raw materials valuation to finished goods), in a SAP environment, of the facilities of the site in Beniel. Additionally, coordinate different financial requirement of the Beniel plant, being the bridge between internal departments and Accounting (A/P, Treasury and several accounting processes).
Main accountabilities of this position are:
Collaborate in the standard cost calculation process as part of the budgeting process Review manufacturing deviations in the plant (including those generated in purchasing prices of materials) monthly, identifying the reason of said deviations and report them to the Industrial Controller and Operations. Review standard costs quarterly and suggest potential changes to the Industrial Controller and Operations. Analyse potencial obsolesce risks in inventories Provide information to the Controlling Mgr for the Monthly Report to Riverside, with accuracy (explanation of deviations and future trends) at due time. Control of Fixed Assets, participating in the creation of SAP orders, monitoring the evolution of amounts committed and booked and the status of different projects to ensure the calculate and book accruals at month end to ensure the accuracy of amortizations. Collaborate in the monthly closing from a Controlling perspective (BRAD and analysis of deviations (OpEx)) Participate in the external financial audit process in transaction related to the site Identify financial requirements of the operational departments, solve them when possible or communicate to Accounting department when needed, providing the info to ensure an effective answer. Additionally, it is necessary to have a general overview of the customer collection process and review the up-to-date information on the status of the customer portfolio and the account payables accounting process, advising in case of incidents.
