This dynamic position involves overseeing the day-to-day activities, maintaining quality standards, ensuring safety standards, optimizing efficiency, and driving profitability. The Site Manager will lead the local Management Team and is responsible for all the aspects of managing and optimizing day-to-day operations to ensure efficiency, safety, productivity and profitability. Responsibilities: Operational Duties: Co-defining the directions plant processes development, including investment activities. Ensuring the intended efficiency of processes in the scope of the responsibility Ensuring the timely execution of the sales plan in accordance with the schedule as well as quantitative and qualitative requirements Ensuring that the assigned areas of responsibility are kept clean and tidy in accordance with the company's improvement initiatives, 5s / Lean etc. and in accordance with occupational health and safety requirements Support that valid risk assessments have been completed for all aspects of plant processes activities and that any identified risks are minimized, assisting with the completion of risk assessments where required Audits areas and processes and ensures that improvements actions and problem-solving tools are in place in the plant area Supervision on the management of hazardous substances Supervision on selective waste collection in all departments and informing the person responsible for waste management about the need to hand over the waste to the recipient Conducting occupational health and safety training for new employees, including familiarization with occupational risk assessment and the way of handling dangerous substances in accordance with the Safety Data Sheets Other responsibilities and rights arising from the documentation (procedures and instructions) Waste segregation in accordance with applicable rules in this regard Handling chemicals in accordance with applicable rules in this regard (provisions in safety data sheets and provided at health and safety trainings) Compliance with other procedures and instructions in the field of environmental and health and safety management (ISO 14001: 2015, ISO 45001: 2018) Ensuring reporting of non-conformities, failures and Health and Safety risks (including reporting accidents) and Environmental Safety to the manager or person responsible for EHS Reporting to the Management Systems Representative any comments on the improvement of the system operation Managerial Tasks: Team and work management (planning, organizing and verification) in the scope of responsibility Analysis and implementation of the budget Verification and ensuring of the permissions and qualifications of the subordinate team Ensuring and developing the competence of a subordinate team Managing a subordinate team - setting directions, goals and tasks to be implemented, delegating powers and responsibilities, ensuring the achievement of goals and tasks in accordance with the procedures, policies and internal regulations in the company Managing the work time of a subordinate team Participate in the processes of: salary level of subordinates, people review, appraisal, grading Qualifications Degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Business administration or a related field Proven experience in site-management of at least minimum 5 years, preferred within Industrial sectors. Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate across all levels of the organization. Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and compliance requirements. Strategic thinker with a track record of implementing successful operational strategies. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collect, analyze, and interpret complex data. Strong technical knowledge across relevant processes and products Proven unterstanding in Lean methodologies and other process improvement tools and techniques.
