As an addition to the organization, we are looking for aLead SoftwareEngineer & Software Engineerto develop software for the production and technical support of mechatronic control systems for agricultural machinery, from the design phase to integration tests. Based inValencia, Spain , you will directly report to the Team Lead of the R&D department in the Netherlands.The R&D department falls under ourKverneland Group Mechatronicsentity which develops and produces advanced operating systems for agricultural machines. Our terminals, electronic control units, and licenses ensure that agricultural machines/implements are easy to connect, operate and monitor. When Smart/Precision farming is applied, it reduces the need for raw materials, simplifies work, less costs, and enables higher yields. This is better for the environment and farmers and contractors ultimately get a higher profit in return.Responsibilities:Monitor the daily progress of the customer projects.Deliver projects on time with the proper quality and functionality.Advise the Project Manager and/or the Manager R&D on cost aspects of the activities.Coordinate/guide/lead other software engineers.Activities:Ownership of the software (development) of a particular product.Act as the point of contact for the product software implementation.Define the requirements and the software design of the product.Support system engineers with defining the correct requirements for the product.Translate the system and software requirements into work packages.Define, delegate and verify work packages and Jira tickets to/from SW developers.Work together with other software engineers on common code base and technical challenges that will move the department forward.Requirements:Bachelors or Master degree (or equivalent) inComputer Science/EngineeringorElectronics Engineeringor similar.2+ years of experienceindependently designing and implementing softwareEmbedded C/C++experience.Ability tocommunicate the design and implementation of software systems , including relevant strengths/weaknesses and reasons for implementation decisions to both the customer and the project team.Understanding ofsoftware quality assurance principles .Englishskills at minimum B2 level.Willingness to occasionally travel abroad .Knowledge of / experience working with electronics isbeneficial .People management skills isbeneficial .AutonomyDelegationLeadershipProactive ,result-orientedand an excellentteam player .Ability to adaptto dynamic project changes.Recruitment process outline:April 2024 - application selection & first interviewApril/May 2024 - second & third interview / final selectionJava ElasticSearch Software Developer (100% Remoto)#J-18808-Ljbffr
