Through DCP, AXA will serve existing and new clients and partners through an evolving business model, where our focus on insurance protection will transition to a combination of protection, prevention, and services – moving from loss prevention to loss prediction. AXA DCP relies on creating an ecosystem of AXA's risk insights, risk management, and risk prevention capabilities to enhance and support our service offering to commercial clients. Clients will be able to access a broad selection of data built on existing or developing AXA assets. The platform will also create value by monetizing unique capabilities and services for our customers, aggregating, and delivering insights from unique data sets with external partners, and fostering end-customer relationships in alignment with brokers. AXA DCP aims to: Improve our underwriting pricing and claims capabilities across the commercial lines book of business of AXA Group Create a platform for risk management and prevention servicesBuild an ecosystem of business partners As the Solution Architect Principal of AXA DCP, you will be responsible for providing expertise & technical leadership and direction for the entire AXA DCP organization in a fast-paced environment, being the "know all" about Appliation & Infrastructure Architecture for the development and implementation of new technologies, and of DCP target platform in particular.You will be responsible for DCP's cloud computing system to develop cloud adoption plans, determine the cloud application design, and create systems for managing, monitoring, and maintaining the cloud system of the DCP for Software as a Service (SaaS), Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), or Platform as a Service (PaaS) solutions. You will be a key member of the technical team and will play a critical role in the company's growth and success. You will report directly to the CTO of AXA DCP. QualificationsDISCOVER your opportunityWhat will your essential responsibilities include? Designing the cloud environment for DCP based on its requirements, utilizing emerging and best technologies to design the Architecture of the Platform and its components and the solutions/application/core components, creating cloud-based applications that are efficient and secure Evaluating, Designing and improving solutions while working with feature teams and the security team in order to monitor, troubleshoot, and optimise the cloud environment Collaborating with other technology team members to complete projects, bringing support for the engineering and development of AWS Cloud Architectures usging the Architecture, Building blocks and BluePrints principles Designing with frugality and management of the cost of the proposal architecture designed, converting the technical requirements of projects into suitable architecture Ensuring cloud solutions and operations are reliable, take care as priority number one the security of cloud computing solutions Align organizational Architecture strategy and infrastructure decisions aligned with CTO's Strategy and with overall business and technology strategy Identify architectural design gaps in existing and proposed architectures and recommend changes or enhancements Test security architecture in relationship with feature and developer teams to ensure they behave as expected Use current programming language and technologies to writes code, complete programming and performs testing and debugging of applications Staying abreast of new technologies and trends in cloud computingTrain users in implementation or conversion of systems You will report to the Chief Technology Officer, AXA DCP SHARE your talent We're looking for someone who has these abilities and skills: Effective verbal and written communication skills to share insights with stakeholders of all levels, including entry-level programmers, business managers, project team members, and senior executives. Being a thought leader who creates and presents content using AWS as their building blocks you're able to be the Leading Solutions Architectect Principal and subject matter expert who can explain complex topics about Cloud Architecture, Networking, security design principals etc. Prooven expertise in the AWS Cloud Architecture, you have several key AWS Certification for Solution Architecture Associate level as a must have, professional level would be appreciated, and other key AWS certifications or specialitiesHigh-level collaboration skills to assist with several different areas of cloud architecture management Project management skills to orchestrate cloud migrations and new system integrations seamlessly Strong technical expertise (with critical thinking and analytical skills), you're proficient in popular programming languages like Node.Js, Python or Java, good understanding of how databases, networks, and other critical IT functions work Ability to integrate and automate an organisation's IT system processes, and a proven experience working with legacy information systems Good knowledge of standards related to regulatory compliance risk management (ISO 27001) Master from engineering school or university equivalenceProven experience in building/ designing user-facing software products and services Proven experience in a technical senior management role, developing and nurturing teams of motivated technologists FIND your future AXA XL, the P&C and specialty risk division of AXA, is known for solving complex risks.
