Description Scopely is looking for a Staff Web Engineer to join our Monopoly GO! team in Seville or on a hybrid basis. Translate wireframe designs into best in class web interfaces, supporting the player experience in Monopoly GO!Drive the implementation of game-related mechanics using web technologiesWork closely with feature owners, the UX / UI team and other development teams to implement new features and technological pipelines for Monopoly GO!Participate in Technical Design Documents, Code Reviews and test suites to collaborate and share feedback with other team membersWrite automated, high-quality tests (unit, integration, e2e) and work with QA to ensure the delivery of high quality software that works smoothlyLive game support & troubleshooting including addressing bugs and exploits and tackling opportunities to improve player experienceDefine and encourage use of best practices for frontend engineering throughout all development phasesHelp build a strong engineering team and cultureWhat We're Looking For Deep experience in frontend engineering and UI development, with a meaningful focus in the React ecosystemStrong understanding of web applications architecture and patterns, considering the distributed nature of such productsExperience addressing cross-browser compatibility concernsExceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detailStrong verbal and written communication skillsSelf motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision while also contributing to a high functioning team environmentExperience in the gaming industry is a plus, but not requiredBonus Points Experience building smooth and fun web interfaces, leveraging the latest technologiesExperience with continuous integration and delivery processesExperience with AWS
