.Description:As part of a small, passionate, and accomplished team, you will be responsible for all aspects of stage engineering design, development, support production, integrated test, combined test and qualification for MIURA 5 first stage.Responsibilities:Design, build, and test stage systems and components for MIURA 5 launch vehicle first stage.Own and provide support for critical stage component development, both in-house and subcontract.Participate in design and analysis for stage development.Participate and own stage engineering trade-offs.Participate and lead in CONOPS development and implementation.Participate in test activities, reviews, and provide operational specification for stage development.Participate in integrated stage test reviews and acceptance testing reviews.Participate in flight readiness review, and post flight data review.Elaborate documentation for subsystems engineering, including test plans, test procedures and formal reviews for launch authorities.Responsible to reporting overall program status and critical path items to program management, chief executives, and the subsystem's department for alignment.Ensure that detailed mechanical analysis is performed on all vehicle subsystems components/systems, reviewed, and meets the required standards for life and reliability targets.Ensure the fulfillment of stage requirements and subsystem requirements.Evaluate product nonconforming conditions by analyzing, developing, and providing written dispositions for development, production, test, and postproduction discrepancies considering design requirements, safety, quality, cost and schedule.Coordinate and maintain vendor relations.Write, review, and update work instructions for assembly, handling, inspection of turbopump assemblies.Identify design and/or process modification to improve performance, reliability, manufacturability, and assembly.Perform other duties as required.Required Knowledge:> 5 years of experience designing turbomachinery components, first stage engines or relevant/equivalent stage hardware.Required Competences:Fluency in English is mandatory.Experience with commercial analysis (structural and fluids) softwareExperience with high-speed data acquisition and instrumentation using accelerometers and pressure/temperature sensorsReview and maintain engineering documentation including engineering models and drawings models of as-designed, as-built and as-tested subsystems configurations.Experience post-processing data to assess stage ´s subsystem health, performance, and associated phenomena.Source suppliers for stage components such as valves, COPVs, sensors, actuators, tubing, and pipingExperience in one or more of the following:Mechanical design of launch vehicle subsystemsTesting with high-speed data acquisition.CONOPS implementation.Test plan and test procedures implementation.Manufacturing / producibility of launch vehicle hardware.Experience with cryogenic fluids and high-pressure gas lines
