The ideal candidate will have a strong background in safetymanagement and technical process engineering knowledge, with the ability to effectively identify and mitigate potential safety hazards.Responsibilities :Strategy and development, objectives and actions connected to the Product with respect to Technical Safety & HSSE in connection with Wärtsilä Gas Solution overall strategySupport Market - Driven R&D in collaboration with Innovation and Sales with respect to Technical SafetySales support Providing input technical specifications of standard products for the Technical Safety scopeProduct Portfolio Management Standardization, optimization of revisions, versions and optionsDevelop the Ways of Working and the Business Process Model to adopt Wärtsilä Gas Solution to the Sales strategyConduct hazard assessments and risk assessments to identify potential safety hazards in the project, site, workplaceProject support and commissioning supportDevelop and implement safety policies, procedures, and programs to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal safety regulationsProvide training and guidance to employees on safety procedures and safe work practices Investigate incidents to determine root causes and develop recommendations for preventionConduct safety audits and inspections to identify and address potential safety hazardsCollaborate with internal stakeholders to implement safety improvements and integrate safety into day-to-day operationsMaintain and update safety records, reports, and documentationStay current with new safety regulations and best practices in the industryRequirements :Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Process Engineering, or related field10+ years of experience in a technical safety roleKnowledge of OSHA regulations and industry standardsExcellent problem-solving and analytical skillsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamThis is a full-time position with competitive salary and benefits.
