What we need: As an UI/UX Designer at 31st Union, you will have a significant role in shaping the user experience and visual language to support both the art and overall game design on our project. You will collaborate with others from diverse disciplines like design, art, and engineering to help craft a rich and immersive interactive experience, that balances the needs of gameplay design and art direction. We love games that play well and look great; our view is that well designed UI / UX positively contributes to a great overall game experience.
Required experience: Strong UI abilities that demonstrates a strong grasp and understanding of the needs of UI in an interactive game experienceWell OrganizedStrong communication and writing skillsExperience in a prototyping software (Adobe XD, Balsamiq, Axure RP, Figma, etc.)Experience working in game engines (e.g. UE4, Unity, and other proprietary or commercial engines), design toolsets and production pipelines is strongly desired; Scripting knowledge is a major plus (Blueprints or other)Able to prioritize, plan, and organize UI asset creation, working with development partners on how best to deliver and execute on the creative vision and ensuring delivery of Triple-A game quality visuals.Proficiency in production software such as Photoshop, Illustrator (or equivalent software for asset generation) is required; Motion graphics and animation proficiency is a major plusKnowledge in 3D is a plus but not requiredAble to work and communicate in EnglishSECURITY NOTICE - We have recently been made aware of increasing occurrences of bad actors posing as company HR personnel to gain information from "potential candidates", in the form of job interviews and offers.
