col-wideJob Description:Telco strategic pursuit architectThis role has been designated as 'Edge', which means you will primarily work outside of an HPE office.We are looking for a Telco strategic pursuit architect to join us! In this role, you will be responsible for creating the infrastructure solutions that enable Telecommunication providers to create the network, from the edge to the core. You shall be technical expert in a global team of sales and presales that focuses on strategic, key deals for Telco operators.**In a typical day as a **Telco strategic pursuit architect**, you would**- Analyze requirements and business processes- Evaluate the economic impact of specific technologies and strategies- Develop long-term and technologically feasible IT strategies and concepts for clients- Prepare and release IP architectures at project and program level- Monitor and coordinate the implementation and control of project and program architectures- Carry out user trainings with the customer- Support pre-sales activities by creating opportunities and conducting customer presentations at the executive level, etc.- Respond to RFx, build proposals and configurations, based on HPE Telco Blueprints, that address the Telco operators need for compute elements inside their networks- Deploy and execute demos and Proofs of Concept of HPE´s telco solutions- Interface with customers, partners and sales teams, to bring technical expertise into sales discussions- Gather feedback from the field to guide product evolution**If you are**:- An electrical or computer science engineer- With 2 to 4 years of experience in Telecommunications or Technology, working as part of presales, engineering or technical product management teams- Located in Spain or Romania**And have**:- Knowledge of server, storage and networking architectures and products- Good command of Linux- Deep understanding of virtualization and acceleration techniques, server and storage configuration- Understanding of Telco concepts and architectures: networking, 5G/4G, radio, OSS/BSS, NFVDesired, not mandatory- A passion for hands on engagement, team working in a global, multi-cultural environment, and serving customers and salesJoin us and make your mark!spainWe offer:- A competitive salary and extensive social benefits- Diverse and dynamic work environment- Work-life balance and support for career development- An amazing life inside the element!
