Transport & XDock Tender & Logistics Solutions managerLead transportation & XDock projects from initiation to completion (the planning, design, and execution) ensuring adherence to timelines, quality standards and budgets. Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.Collaborate with project managers and teams to resolve issues, provide guidance, and ensure efficient project delivery.Define and implement parts and packaging logistics solutions optimizing quality, costs and lead time.Develop and implement economic costing models for transportation & XDock and packaging operations.Accurately estimate the total logistics costs of project.Develop comprehensive budgets for transportation projects, considering cost estimates, project timelines, and funding sources. Ensure that the project remains within budgetary constraints throughout its lifecycle.Implement project risk management practices to identify potential challenges and implement appropriate mitigation strategies.Identify opportunities for improving the efficiency of transport flows through data analysis and process optimization and implement cost-effective and sustainable transportation solutions.Centralize information to align plant and transporter planning, analyze long-term needs and prepare new projects for powertrain organs and propose transport flow optimization solutions.Cooperate with other activities (purchasing and industrial strategy) to reach the best Total Delivery Cost for the entire company (notably choice of suppliers and assembly level).Conduct post-project evaluations to assess the actual costs against the estimated costs. Analyze the factors contributing to any variances and derive lessons for future projects.Oversee the tendering process for transportation & XDock services, including vendor selection, negotiations, and contract management.Analyze bids and proposals to make informed recommendations for carrier partnerships.Leads performance with Purchasing Organization of Logistic providers contracts throughout RFI/RFQ process:Deliver cost and quality performance.Optimized scope and supplier panel, contract duration, …Ensure the maturity and development of the team's skills.Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Transportation Engineering, or a related field.
